March: 6. God good to us in many outward mercies, yet my wife , and Jane have a little touch in their health, Jane with a swelling in her neck, lord in mercy do you heal them both perfectly, the season cold and searching. the lord was good to me in the inward frame of my heart, not annoyed with former vanities of my mind, lord let no worldly business eat up my heart, help me to make a good improvement of Sabbaths, I find Colne men not minding my slender maintenance, when mentioned they word it better, but they do not help me. but my lord will and I shall praise him.
