Oct: 23. Divers days past, my dear wife very stomach sick and disheartened. this morning she apprehends she is with child of a daughter, the lord be health inward and outward unto her, carry us through all we are to do in the house of our pilgrimage to the glory of his own name, my business much on me, but I think my spirit is better kept therein than when less encumbered, lord let Satan no way, get his advantage against me. god good to me in the Sabbath, the good lord strengthen me in believing for his own sake.
