April: 29. God good to me and mine in our many outward mercies, for which my soul heartily blesses him, heard from Mrs H. with whom I hope its well lord hear her prayers, and satisfy her soul in thy favour. god good to me in the word, its easy with him to render all mens devices useless and give being to the counsels of his own heart; my heart wrecks me in the troubles of my corrupt thoughts, lord when shall they be in subjection to thee.
