Aug: 12. God good to us in outward mercies, divers sad untimely deaths by us and we preserved. Mrs Jane highly out of frame, others in sorrow, and we in peace and rest of spirit. my soul and all within me blesses thee, oh frame my heart to faith and obedience continually. a very sweet harvest week which many improve; the Archbishop of Tuam with us, people wonderfully neglect the Sabbath, and yet god holds his hand. oh that patience might amend us. god good in the word to me.
