Sept: 30: Very showery weather, which is a hindrance for present to seed time(,) the lord good to me in many outward blessings for which my soul blesses his holy name; god good to me in the Sabbath, but my soul is inwardly afflicted at the profane conversation of many, oh that god would in mercy bring in a change upon persons. Sept. 27. in the morning the bullock gave blood, her bag swelled and so continued blood on that big until. oct. 17. we found the hedgehog in the field oct. 4. and killed it.
