Oct: 14. God good to me, and mine in many outward mercies, for which my soul praises him the season very quiet, and the time of the year comfortable, the lord compose my spirit, in submission to him(,) god was good to me in the word, oh that I might be enabled to walk with god, as my soul sees beauty and loveliness in it, our schoolmaster in town at Mr Cresseners , and well, but not at church, morning nor evening.
