Jan: 19. god good in outward mercies. this day clear and cold a frost, corn is eared(,) rye in divers places. and corn mounts in the price, my Mary ill of an ague(.) [ux.-] lord sanctify every rebuke to our souls and seed. god good to me in the word, his patience much, under my great unpreparedness in his work, lord quicken you me for thy great mercies sake.
