Heard of the welfare of my old friend Mrs Colier and hers. a wonderful inundation the end of Nov: which did much hurt to the English coast. but incredible to the Netherlands. the plague increased this bill: burials. 442. plague. 243. increase. 14. so said at Colchester. 67. of plague. all. 71. the weather frosty began Dec: 14. god purge our air and heal the nation: Halsted much struck with the smallpox and a fever at Colne in divers poor families. lord watch over us for good
