Aug. 10. God has stood by me in many straits, and carried me through them. I trust he will carry me through all the difficulties of my outward condition and inward. I will stir up my heart from this promise, and god shall command his blessing: A fine morning, my heart presses after god with delight in him as my portion and my hope. god was good to me in the sabbath word and affections, my heart working warmly after him.
