Feb. 10. The snow covered the ground, and although the weather was often open that we stirred our ploughs yet the frost never fully out of the ground(.) my heart desires to do god some service in the work of this day. god was present with me with life and sweetness to my soul in the delivery of the word. the Chancellor Finch was robbed of mace and purse.
