No. 11. frost after wet. god gives me comfort in himself. in other things I experience vexation; it is a mercy when we can have quiet by patience. it seems hard. that relations should turn all to their wills and know nothing of duty and kindness, heaven will sweeten all. a cheerful morning.

Mr Tims came again. returned on the 14. unkindly used by Mary , though kindly by us(.) heard, to my joy how lovingly Mr Smith and his wife live, which marriage I urged gods blessing go with him. I shall observe gods providence herein. oh let kindness be to me
