Monday. 4 clock. it rained much: 12. the most stormy driving rain with raging winds that I never knew the like. the wrecks on the north sea and hurt at land, by high floods unexpressible. some match the hurt to Londons fire, continual floods in a manner for 3 weeks. and though some few days dry. yet after that oct. 15. a little flood: 20. 21. a great flood. a sad seed time to most grounds:
