and whereas at a court here held 26.5.1624 the said Jn Potter senior Jeff Potter and Ann his wife were admitted tenants of the lord according to the said surrender according as it is shown by the said court roll now at this court it is shown by the homage that the said Jn Potter senior Jeff Potter and Ann after the said court and before this court died seised thereof and that the said Jn Potter junior died during the lifetime of the said Jeff and Ann without heirs of his body and that Robt Potter is brother and heir of the said Jn Potter junior and has the right to the premises whereupon came here into court the said Robt Potter and humbly sought admittance to whom the lord by the steward granted and delivered seisin by the rod to have to himself and his heirs forever upon the said conditions to hold from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according the customs of the said manor by the rents services and customs thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and he gave to the lord his fine etc
