whereas at a court here held 19.10.1659 it was presented by the homage that Jn Stephens senior after the then last court surrendered into the hands of the lord all that messuage or his customary tenement with appurtenances to the use and behoof of Joan Stephens then his wife for her lifetime etc but because no one came after proclamation was thrice made therefore there was a precept to the bailiff of the manor to seize the premises into the hands of the lord etc now at this court a second proclamation was thrice made etc but no one came therefore the said seizure was continued
