whereas at a court here held 16.10.1673 Dorcas London was admitted to her and her heirs to one parcel of land called Spriggs Garden with a pond there adjoining a free messuage called Scriveners now at this court it appeared to the homage that the said Dorcas London before this court surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of Geo Toller gentleman instead of the bailiff in the presence of Wm Harlakenden esq and Geo Cressener gentleman two customary tenants etc the said parcel of land etc to the use of Dorothy Nightingale wife of Dan Nightingale of Earls Colne grocer and the heirs and assigns of the said Dorothy forever which said Dorothy by the said Dan Nightingale her attorney or deputy the steward delivered seisin to have and to hold the said parcel etc to the said Dorothy Nightingale her heirs and assigns of the lord etc and she gave for fine etc
