at a court held 4.4.1671 Thos Savill gentleman was admitted to certain customary lands called Bridgemans one head thereof abuts on the land called Stanley and Newmans to the east and the other head abuts on the great river against the north containing 13a and at a court held 9.1.1679 the said Thos was admitted to all those three parts the whole into four parts divided of a certain meadow or parcel of land called Pakesgate Mead alias Ringers with appurtenances lying next to Colne Park containing 10a and also to the fourth part of the said meadow called Pakesgate Mead into four parts divided now at this court it appeared that the said Thos died after the last court and that Jn Savill infant is his only son and heir (sic but not son) who by Jn Savill gentleman his father (sic correct) as his attorney or deputy is admitted etc and gave fine and fealty respited
