at this court it appears to homage that Mary Newman spinster a customary tenant of this manor 5.8.1711 came before head steward of manor and surrendered by the rod into the hand of the lord by hand of said head steward all her customary lands tenements and hereditaments held of this manor to such uses as would be declared in her last will in writing
