at this court appears to homage that 15.8.1727 Jn Wilcock only son and heir of Jn Wilcocks deceased a customary tenant of the manor surrendered into hand of lord by rod by hand of Beadnell Ward in place of the bailiff in presence of Hen Adams senior and Hen Adams junior two other customary tenants of the manor etc all that parcel land called Spriggs Garden with a pond adjoining a free messuage of Jn called Scriveners in tenure of Wm Harvey to use of Wm Harvey his heirs and assigns forever after which comes into court Wm Harvey and petitions etc admitted tenant to premises etc
