at a general court held for the manor 30.3.1697 Wm Russell esq and Mary his wife the daughter of Thos Savell (Jn Savill ) gentleman deceased were admitted in fee tail to a certain customary lands with appurtenances called Bridgemans containing by estimation 13a more or less held by annual rent of 13s4d and also all that meadow or parcel of land called Parkes Gate Mead alias Ringers next Colne Park containing by estimation 10a more or less with appurtenances held by annual rent 16d now to this court appears to homage that Mary Russell widow and relict of said Wm Russell died since last court and that Wm Russell esq is eldest son and heir of Wm and Mary and of full age after which comes into court said Wm and humbly petitions etc admitted tenant to premises in fee tail etc
