at this court comes Math Fletcher a customary tenant of manor and before the homage surrendered by rod into hand of lord by hand of steward all his customary tenement and garden with appurtenances called Boomes formerly Wm Green's tenement and 4a land more or less lying next Hindes Land in Earls Colne and also one croft called Burroughs formerly Raynham Burroughs containing 3a more or less in Earls Colne and also 3r meadow more or less with appurtenances called Nokes and Burroughs and also one parcel land containing 4a more or less called Burroughs lying next to said 3r meadow called Nokes and Burroughs and also one croft land called Little Burroughs with all appurtenances and all his other copyhold lands and tenements held of manor of Earls Colne by copy of court roll and reversion and reversions remainder and remainders of all and singular said premises to uses hereinafter mentioned that is to say to use of Phil Robinson citizen and goldsmith of London and his assigns for his life and after his death to use of Grace Robinson his wife and her assigns for her life and after her decease or the survivor of them said Phil and Grace Robinson to use of Jas Robinson son of said Phil Robinson and Grace his wife for his life and after his death then to use of first and other sons of said Jas Robinson lawfully issuing severally and successively as they shall be in seniority of age and priority of birth and the heirs of his and their respective body and bodies issuing the elder of such son and sons and heirs of his body issuing to take and be preferred before the younger and the heirs of his and their bodies issuing and for default of such issue then to the use of all and every the daughter and daughters of said Jas Robinson if more than one to take as tenants in common and not as joint tenants and the heir of her and their respective body and bodies issuing and for default of such issue then to the use of such person and persons and for such estate and estates as the said Phil Robinson by any deed or writing executed by him in the presence of two or more credible witnesses or by his last will in writing duly attested shall direct limit and appoint and for want of such direction limitation or appointment to use of all and every other the son and sons of said Phil Robinson by Grace his wife severally and successively shall be in seniority of age and priority of birth and the heirs of his respective body or bodies issuing the elder of such sons and the heirs of his body issuing to take and be preferred before the younger and the heirs of his and their body and bodies issuing and for default of such issue then to the use of all and every the daughter and daughters of said Phil Robinson by Grace his wife if more than one as tenants in common and not as joint tenants and the heirs of her and their respective bodies issuing and for default of such issue then to the use of Phil Robinson elder son of Phil Robinson father and the heirs of his body lawfully issuing and for default of such issue to use of Rebecca Wash sister of said Phil Robinson the father for her life and after her death then to use of such child or children of Rebecca Wash as shall then be living be they sons or daughters to take as tenants in common and not as joint tenants and the heirs of their respective bodies and in default of such issue then to use of right heirs of Phil Robinson the father forever thereupon Phil Robinson the father and Grace the wife being in court in their proper persons craved admittance to all and singular the premises to wit to all that messuage and garden called Boomes with 4a land adjoining Hindes Land held by annual rent 3s6d and also to 3a called Raynham Burroughs held by rent of 18d and also to 3r meadow called Nokes and Burroughs held by rent of 14d and also said 4a adjoining called Burroughs held by rent of 5s3d1h and also to a croft of land called Little Burroughs held by rent of 4d with all appurtenances etc according to form of surrender etc saving to lord their right of fines etc
