at the last general court held on 22.4.1737 last it was presented by the then homage that before the said court to wit 21.4. same month Jos Goulding a customary tenant of manor surrendered by rod into hand of lord by hand of Solomon Grimston gentleman deputy steward of manor etc all his messuage and tenement with appurtenances situate at Colne Green and held of the manor by copy of court roll to use of Thos Hull of Earls Colne carpenter and his heirs until a marriage should be had between him and Ann Rust spinster and from and after the solemnisation thereof to use of them said Thos and Ann and the heirs of Thos Hull forever
