at a court held 1.6.1741 it was found by homage that Jn Bell and Thomasin his wife late Thomasin Toller spinster customary tenants of manor Thomasin first solely and secretly examined by Solomon Grimston gentleman deputy steward and consenting did before last court to wit 19.5.last surrender by rod into hand of lord by hand of deputy steward according to custom of manor all and singular their or either of their customary messuages lands and tenements whatsoever held of manor to use of such person or persons for such estate or estates as Thomasin by last will in writing under her hand and seal testified by two or more witnesses with or without consent of her husband or by any writing under her hand and seal purporting to her last will and testament aforesaid shall declare limit or appoint and for default of such declaration limitation and appointment to use of Jn Bell for life and after his death to use of right heirs of Thomasin forever
