also at this court it is found and presented by homage that Grace Hatch of Earls Colne spinster a customary tenant of manor did since last court to wit 1.12. present month surrender by rod into hands of lords by hands and acceptance of Rich Wale gentleman steward according to custom all her customary messuages lands tenements and hereditaments of Grace Hatch held by copy of court roll reversion and reversions remainder and remainders and all the estate right title property claim and demand of Grace Hatch of and to the same and ever part and parcel to the use of said Grace Hatch until an intended marriage between her and Isaac Philebrown of Mistley Thorne in said county merchant shall be had and solemnised to use of Grace and assigns for her life and from her decease to use of such person and for such estate and estates for such uses intents and purposes and the said Isaac Philebrown and said Grace Hatch his intended wife shall by any deed or deeds surrender or surrenders writing or writings under both their hands from time to time jointly surrender declare limit or appoint and for default of such surrender declaration limitation or appointment and in case the said intended marriage shall take effect to use of Isaac Philebrown and his assigns for his life and after several deaths of Grace Hatch and Isaac Philebrown and decease of the survivor of them to the use of such person for such estate and for such uses intents and purposes as Grace Hatch shall as well during coverture as being sole and notwithstanding her coverture by any deed or deeds writing or writings under her hand and seal and by her duly executed in presence of two or more credible witnesses by her last will in writing or any other writing or writings purporting her last will under hand and seal by her duly executed in presence of three or more credible witnesses shall from time to time declare limit or appoint and for default of and in the meantime until such declaration limitation or appointment as to so much of the said copyhold lands and tenements lands and premises where no such surrender declaration limitation or appointment shall be made to use of Grace Hatch her heirs and assigns forever and to or for no other use intent or purpose whatever or as near to the several uses intents and purposes aforesaid as the customs of the manor will permit
