| fine 12d | at this court the jury present that Jn Atte Sloo chaplain held of the lady on the day he died one cottage with appurtenances and he died thereof seised and they say that a certain Jn Panel senior is the next heir of the said Jn and present in court he seeks admittance to the aforesaid cottage to whom the lady granted thereof seisin to hold to the same Jn Panel his heirs and assigns from the lady at the will of the lady by the rod according to the custom of the manor saving whatever rights and he gave to the lady for a fine etc and made fealty and afterwards at the same said court the aforesaid Jn Panel surrendered into the hands of the lady the aforesaid cottage with appurtenances to the use of Wm Breton to whom the lady granted seisin to hold to the same said Wm his heirs and assigns from the lady at the will of the lady according to the custom of the manor by ancient services and customs and he gave to the lady for a fine etc and made fealty etc |
