his wife concerning a plea that he should return to them one cottage with garden adjoining sometime of
Rich Lambarde's
of Colne of which they say that the said
Rich
was seised of the aforesaid cottage with garden in the time of Edward etc by the rod according to the custom of the manor and he surrendered the aforesaid cottage with appurtenances into the hands of the lady at a court held on
monday next after the feast of st hilary 14.1.26Edw3
to the use of
Jn le Wryght
and
Alice
his wife and the heirs of their bodies legitimately procreated by virtue of which the tenancy of the aforesaid cottage with appurtenances is descended and by right it should descend to the aforesaid
Joan
as the daughter and heir of the aforesaid
Jn Wryght

Alice
his wife by which she seeks pronouncement and the aforesaid
Rich Fuller
defends the himself from the injury and he says that no such gift was made as the aforesaid

submitted and for this he places himself upon the evidence and the aforesaid

likewise and upon this they are sworn charged and tried and the jury the names of whom are shown below say upon their oath and no such gift was made as the said
