fine 3s4d Adam Crudde present in court surrendered into the hands of the steward one cottage between a tenement of Jn Cryk and between a tenement of Wm Wenyne and Hen Payne to the use of Rich Polsted to himself and his heirs to whom the lady granted thereof seisin to himself and his heirs by the rod at the will of the lady according to the custom of the manor saving whatever rights upon the following condition that the aforesaid Rich should pay to the aforesaid Adam at the feast of xmas and easter next following 40s and thus from feast to feast until the full sum in payment of 5li10s sterling is reached by Rich otherwise this same said surrender should be set aside and the aforesaid Rich gave to the lady for a fine for entry thereof as shown in the margin to have as aforesaid and he made fealty to the lady
