fine 4d | to this court came Jn Soneld and surrendered into the hands of the lady one cottage with curtilage adjoining in Colne sometime of Jn Blowbernes to the use of Wm Ormond chaplin to whom the lady granted thereof seisin to hold to the same said Wm and his heirs from the lady by the services and customs according to the custom of the manor and he gave to the lady for a fine for having his entry as is shown in the margin of the roll etc and he made fealty etc upon such a condition that if the aforesaid Jn or his heirs or any other named by him should pay or cause to be paid to the aforesaid Wm or his attorney before the feast of st peter next 40s8d that then this surrender should be null or otherwise it should stand and be in force etc |
