fine 6s8d Thos Smyth and Robt Segge surrendered into the hands of the lord fifteen acrewar of land sometime of Jn Ate Hey and one molland called Pyrylond sometime of Rich Ate Hey with appurtenances to the use of Roger Brampston to whom the lord thereof granted seisin to have to the same and Roger Moordon their heirs and assigns upon the following condition that the aforesaid Roger and Roger or anyone named by them should pay or cause to be paid to the aforesaid Thos Smyth or his rightful attorneys at the feast of michaelmas.last following after this present date 13s4d and at the same said feast following from year to year then next following 13s4d until the sum of 18marks in usual english money should be paid to the same said Thos or his certain attorneys and if if should happen that the aforesaid Roger and Roger should default in part or in whole in the aforesaid payment at any of the stated terms that then it should be allowed to the same said Thos and Robt the heirs and assigns of Thos himself to reenter and go into again the aforesaid fifteen acrewar of land and the said molland and their appurtenances as in the present estate of the persons of Thos and Robt by the lord's licence to reenter it as before this surrender notwithstanding and the aforesaid Roger and Roger gave to the lord for a fine for having entry to hold to the will of the lord by ancient services and customs saving the rights etc and they made fealty
