fine 2s | to this court came Jn Hakonn and Agnes his wife by the steward solely examined and surrendered into the hands of the lord one cottage with curtilage sometime Ballardys to the use of Simon Hamond Jn Hyne and Thos Kelet to whom the lord thereof granted seisin to hold to the same said Simon Jn and Thos their heirs and assigns at the will of the lord by ancient services and customs saving the rights etc upon the condition that the same said Simon Jn and Thos Kelet or their attorneys should pay or cause to be paid to the same said Jn Hakonn and Agnes and Wm Wright or their attorneys or assigns at the feast of michaelmas.next 4li of good english money and at the feast of the nativity of st john baptist then next following 4li and thus at the agreed feasts until the sum of 8li should have been paid and if it should happen that the same said Simon Jn and Thos should default in part or in whole of any of the said payments of money at any of the abovenamed feasts that then it should truly be allowed to the same said Jn and Agnes to reenter and go into the aforesaid cottage as in their former estate until the arrears should be paid and they gave to the lord for a fine etc and made fealty |
