Little Tey inquisition Jn Adam whereas at a court with view here held in pentecost week 30.5.42Edw3 Jn son of Jn of Little Tey inquisition(inserted) acknowledged himself to hold from the lord by knights service one tenement with appurtenances which he bought of Rich Cook therefore it was given to the same to make to the lord homage against the feast of st john baptist next following etc therefore it was presented to distrain the tenant of the lands and tenement against the next to show by what right he had entered into the lord's fee and to make homage to the lord and fealty item Jn Gosse surrendered into the hands of the lord one croft of land called The Parkfeld with its appurtenances as enclosed with hedges and ditches to the use of Alice Adam to whom etc to hold to herself for her lifetime by the services and customs etc therefore it was presented to seize into the hands of the lord until etc and to return to the lord of the profits etc item Thos Smyth surrendered into the hands of the lord 1a of enclosed pasture called Brokefen to the use of the said Alice to whom etc to hold for her life etc
