and they say that Jn Bray who held from the lord at the will one bond tenement called Preston and also held from the lord a free cottage died after the last court and because no one came here into court to take the aforesaid tenement and cottage with appurtenances out of the hands of the lord therefore it was presented to seize into the hands of the lord the aforesaid tenement and cottage with appurtenances and thereof to return to the lord of the profits until etc and further it was presented to distrain the aforesaid tenants of two free cottages against the next court to make fealty to the lord for the aforesaid cottages
