fine 12d | to this court came Margery who was wife of Jn Lyteman in her widowhood and surrendered into the hands of the lord one cottage with curtilage adjoining sometime of Andrew Paget and Lucy his wife who lately held jointly with the aforesaid Jn Lyteman her husband and Wm Clerke of Coggeshale now deceased by the surrender of the aforesaid Andrew and Lucy as in a court with view here held on the tuesday in pentecost 16.5.3Hen4 it plainly appeared etc and now the lord by Thos Basset his chief steward out of his special grace regranted the aforesaid cottage with curtilage and its appurtenances to the aforesaid Margery Jn Martyn and Jn Drewe to whom the lord thereof granted seisin to hold to the aforesaid Margery Jn and Jn their heirs and assigns from the lord at the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor etc and they gave to the lord for a fine for having entry thereof as shown in the margin and made fealty to the lord |
