| fine 20d | and that Joan Grove who was lately wife of Jn Grove at the park gate who held for her lifetime after the death of her aforesaid husband one messuage and 10a of customary land sometime of Jn Grove and afterwards of Rich Reding the remainder thereof after the death of the said Joan Grove belonging to Joan wife of Thos Lopham daughter of Margt daughter of the aforesaid Jn Grove and Joan his wife as in the roll of a general court there held on 29.10.28Hen6 died after the last preceding court etc and the aforesaid Joan wife of the said Thos Lopham daughter of Jn Grove himself and Joan his wife came and sought admittance for herself to the messuage and aforesaid lands etc to whom by the steward seisin was delivered to hold to the same said Joan wife of the said Thos Lopham her heirs and assigns by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor by the services thereunto belonging and by right accustomed etc saving the rights etc and she gave for a fine etc and the aforesaid Thos as in the right of his said wife etc and made fealty etc |
