| to farm | and at this court the lord granted out of his hands to Ralph Awdeley Agnes his wife and Wm Gernon one barn called Burtonsberne with a croft and garden adjoining parcel of the site of the manor there with free ingress and egress by the gates of the manor there from the highway leading to Colchester even to the said barn and by the croft called Berecroft to carry and drive there as well by the said gate as by the said croft whenever they please without doing hurt to the tenant of Berecroft in the meantime of their driving to hold to the same said Ralph Agnes and Wm their heirs and assigns from the date of this court even to the term of thirty years then next following to be complete yielding therefo re to the lord by the year 4s at the terms of the manor by portions |
