and surrendered into the lord's hands two customary cottages with appurtenances sometime in the tenure of
Osberne Shephead
and after
Rich Maikin's
to the use of
Rich Filbrigg
and his heirs to whom the lord granted seisin thereof to hold to him and
Jn Tilwick
and their heirs of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord on the condition following that if the said
Rich
and
Jn
pay or cause to be paid to the said sir
Jn Holme
and his successors 6li13s4d in manner and form following viz at the feast of pentecost then next following after the date of these presents 6s8d and so forth from feast to feast and year to year always at the said feast of pentecost 13s4d until the said 6li13s4d until the foresaid prior and his successor shall be fully paid and satisfied and if there be any default in any of the aforesaid in which etc that then it shall be lawful to the said prior and his successor the lord's licence therefore obtained to reenter and the same to have again as in his former estate this surrender etc and they give for fine and made fealty
