fine 3s4dto this court came Wm Norfolk and surrendered into the lord's hands one messuage with appurtenances called Sebrights sometime Firman Shropham's to the use of Jn James to whom the lord granted seisin thereof to hold to him Wm Choppet clerk Jn Boteler their heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor on condition following viz that if the said Jn James pay or cause to be paid to the said Wm Norfolke his heirs or assigns 8li of lawful money in manner and form following viz in this same court 40s and at the feast of pentecost next following 40s and so from feast to feast and year to year one after another immediately following always at the said feast of pentecost 40s until the said 8li unto the said Wm Norfolk his heirs and assigns be fully paid and if there be default made of or in any part or in whole in any feast aforesaid in which it ought to be paid that then it shall be lawful to the said Wm Norfolk his heirs and assigns the lord's licence thereunto obtained into the said messuage with appurtenances to reenter and the same as in the former estate to have again and possess this surrender notwithstanding and they give the lord for fine and made fealty
