parcel of Brownes messuage Xfine 8d to this court came Jn Culverton and Thomasin his wife and the same Thomasin alone and secretly examined by the lord's steward surrendered into the lord's hands one barn with a stable adjoining under one roof late parcel of the tenement with the appurtenances sometime Jn Slowe's and after Rich Browne's and late Wm Davison's and now in the tenure of the foresaid Jn Culverton as etc to the use and behoof of Jn Strutte his heirs and assigns who being present in the court came and craved to be admitted thereunto and he is admitted the lord's tenant thereof to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to him his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor etc yielding therefore yearly to the said Jn Culverton and his heirs tenants of the said tenement sometime Jn Slowe's 4d sterling at two usual terms of the manor by equal portions to be paid and the foresaid Jn Strutte giveth fine etc and made fealty
