fine 3s4d the half of Pannells it is found by the homage that Jn Pennocke otherwise Herd that held to him and his heirs of the lord as of this manor by the rod etc the half of one barn with the garden adjoining with appurtenances called Pannells in Colne aforesaid as by the meets and bounds etc as in the leet with the court here holden on tuesday in the week of pentecost 26.5.37Hen8 more at large appeareth out of court and since the last court surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of Robt Peerson one of the lord's tenants in the presence of Jn Litle and Thos Turnor likewise the lord's tenants and other the same witnessing the foresaid half of the foresaid barn with the garden adjoining and the appurtenances to the use and behoof of Rich Rolte his heirs and assigns who being present in the court came and craved to be admitted thereunto and because it is so found by the homage therefore he is admitted the lord's tenant thereof to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to him his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor by the ancient rents and services therefore due and of right accustomed and he giveth fine etc and made fealty
