fine 4liit is found by the homage that Adam Polley and Felix his wife and the same Felix being alone and secretly examined by the lord's steward according to the due form of the law the foresaid Adam and Felix surrendered into the lord's hands by the hands of his steward one tenement with a garden adjoining and the appurtenances called Golds Gate as by the meets and bounds etc to the use and behoof of Thos Warner his heirs and assigns who being present in the court came and prayed to be admitted thereto according to the surrender aforesaid to whom by the lord's steward there is seisin thereof delivered to hold to him his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod to the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor and he made fine and fealty and is admitted the lord's tenant
