seventeen that he this deponent as he now remembreth did take up at a court holden for the said manor of Earls Colne to the use of the said Rich Harlakenden the 6a of woodland in the next precedent article specified according to the effect or purport of the note or memorandum now shown unto him this deponent and lastly he saith that he this deponent was persuaded to take up the said 6a of woodland to and for the use of the said defendant at the request and entreaty of one mr Joscelyn then steward of the said court as this deponent now remembreth
