to the fifth he says that Read nor his carriers of wood and timber did hurt and spoil the corn of his father going upon the land with their carriages albeit he says that his father his mother and he did not think good to let them pass through the said ground till the aforesaid request as before mentioned for that they had heard that Read and company would purposely come to the gate and break it and spoil the same that he says that the said Read nor any of the carriers did offer to carry the wood or timber over the corn going in any part of the said land for he says that there is a way more convenient for the like carriages thereof
