this is the final agreement made in the court of the king at Westminster 12.6.1637 etc before Jn Finch Rich Hutton Geo Vernon and Francis Crawley justices and others faithful to the king then there present between Wm Potter senior plaintiff and Jos Wiseman gentleman Eliz his wife Jn Beckwith and Mary his wife Wm Lumpkin and Thomasin his wife and Thos Tenneth and Dorothy his wife deforciants of one messuage with appurtenances in Earls Colne concerning which a plea of covenant has been summoned at the same court namely that the aforesaid Jos and Eliz Jn and Mary Wm Lumpkin and Thomasin and Thos and Dorothy acknowledge the aforesaid messuage with the appurtenances to be the right of the same Wm Potter as that which the same Wm had of the gift of the aforesaid Jos and Eliz Jn and Mary Wm Lumkin and Thomasin and Thos and Dorothy and their heirs to Wm Potter and his heirs forever and the aforesaid same Jos and Eliz grant for themselves and for the heirs of the same Eliz that they will warrant to the aforesaid Wm Potter and his heirs the aforesaid messuage with the appurtenances against the aforesaid Jos and Eliz and the heirs of of the same Eliz forever and further the same Jn and Mary grant for themselves and the heirs of the same Mary that they will warrant to the aforesaid Wm Potter and his heirs the aforesaid messuage with the appurtenances against the aforesaid Jn and Mary and the heirs of the same Mary forever and the same Wm Lumpkin and Thomasin grant for themselves and the heirs of the same Thomasin that they will war rant to the aforesaid Wm Potter and his heirs the aforesaid messuage with the appurtenances against the aforesaid Wm Lumpkin and Thomasin and the heirs of the same Thomasin forever and also the same Thos and Dorothy grant for themselves and the heirs of the same Dorothy that they will warrant to the aforesaid Wm Potter and his heirs the aforesaid messuage with the appurtenances against the aforesaid Thos and Dorothy and the heirs of the same Dorothy forever and and for this acknowledgement remise quitclaim w arrant fine and agreement the same Wm Potter has given the aforesaid Jos and Eliz Jn and Mary Wm Lumpkin and Thomasin and Thos and Dorothy 41li sterling
