of Stapell Inn in the county of Middx gentleman the sum of 315li of good and lawful money of England in part of payment of a more sum due to me for the purchase of the site and demesne of the late dissolved house and priory or monastery of the blessed mary the virgin and st jn the evangelist of Colne Comitis alias Earls Colne in the county of Essex and lordship and manor of the said Colne Priory together with other things mentioned in a pair of indentures of bargain and sale betwixt me the said earl and the said
