office of the judge against mr Jn Wight to undergo further process and on that day he appeared and said concerning the articles and admitted that there was such a fame as is articulate raised by ill disposed and malevolent persons against him and the said Mary Scott but he denied the accusation and therefore was ordered to purge himself under the hands of three people
