order of the rev Xoph Wilson and Robt Tweed esq justices of the peace living next to the limits of Earls Colne re the female bastard child born 18.1.last in the parish of Earls Colne of the body of Sarah Hutton which bastard child is become chargeable to the parish of Earls Colne and likely so to continue on the examination of Sarah Hutton the mother and on her oath they adjudge Francis Pollett of Kelvedon gentleman the putative father of the said female bastard they order Francis Pollet to pay the churchwardens the sum of 14s touching the birth and maintenance of the said child from the date herewith also that Francis Pollet shall pay 2s a week towards the maintenance of the said bastard and that Sarah Hutton shall pay 6d a week given under our hand and seals 21.5.1752
