before us two of his majesties justices of the peace touching his last legal place of settlement this examinant on his oath saith that he was born in the parish of Earls Colne and also saith that he let himself for a year to one

of the parish of Gains Colne at the wages of 5li5s and served the said year duly and truly and received his full wages for the same and further saith that he hath never done any act since to gain a settlement elsewhere sworn before
