in the name of god amen the 29.3.3WmM1 I Ann Pennock of Great Coggeshall in the county of Essex widow being sick and weak in body but of good and sound memory thanks be given to god for the same do make this my last will and testament in manner and form following that is to say imprimis I give and bequeath unto my son Isaac Bentall the sum of 20s item I give and bequeath unto my son Jn Pennock the sum of 20s item I give and bequeath unto my son Robt Pennock the like sum of 20s item I give and bequeath unto my daughter Sarah Lay widow the like sum of 20s all these legacies my mind and will is shall be paid within twelve months next after my decease and my mind and will is that upon payment thereof they and my said sons and my said daughter shall severally give a sufficient release in the law for their respective legacies to my executor hereinafter named item I give and bequeath unto my granddaughter Sarah Bentall one of the children of my said son Isaac Bentall the sum of 10s item I give and bequeath unto my grandson Isaac Bentall one other of the children of my said son Isaac the sum of 5s item I give and bequeath unto my granddaughter Mary Bentall one other of the children of my said son Isaac the like sum of 5s item I give and bequeath item I give and bequeath unto my grandson Geo Bentall another of the children of my said son Isaac the like sum of 5s item I give and bequeath unto my granddaughter Sarah Pennocke one of the children of my said son Jn Pennocke the sum of 5s item I give and bequeath unto my granddaughter Judith Pennocke one other of the children of my said son Jn the like sum of 5s item I give and bequeath unto my grandson Xoph Pennocke another of the children of my son Jn the like sum of 5s item I give and bequeath unto my grandsons Wm Pennocke Jas Pennocke Sam Pennocke and Math Pennocke the children of my said son Robt Pennocke the sum of 5s apiece and my mind and will is that all these above mentioned legacies to all my before named grandchildren shall be paid unto them respectively at their respective ages of 21yr and further my mind and will is that if any of the said children of my said son Isaac shall happen to depart this life before their respective (sic) shall become due and payable his her and their legacy so dying shall go to the survivors or survivor of them and in like manner if any of the said children of my said son Jn shall happen to depart this life before their respective legacies shall become due and payable his her and their legacy so dying shall go to the survivors or survivor of them and so also if any of the said children of my said son Robt shall happen to depart this life before his or their legacy shall become due and payable his and their legacy so dying shall go to the survivors or survivor of them part and share alike item all my household goods copper brewing vessels beer vessels and utensils to them belonging and all my goods chattels and personal estate whatsoever of what nature or kind soever the same be my debts legacies funeral expenses and the probate of this my will being first paid and discharged I give and bequeath to my daughter Ann the wife of my son in law Elias Reynolds and I do hereby ordain constitute and appoint the said Elias Reynolds and the said Ann his wife executors of this my last will and testament and do hereby revoke all former wills by me made in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year first above written Ann Pennocke her mark signed sealed and published by the testatrix in the presence of us and we in her presence have subscribed our names this words other said survivors being first interlined Jacob Cox Abrm Hooke Wm Cox jun
