in the name of god amen I Jeff Wistoe of Alphemstone in the county of Essex yeoman being sick and weak of body but of sound and perfect mind and memory thanks be to almighty god for the same do make this my last will and testament revoking all former wills by me made in manner following imprimis I give my soul to god that gave it me and my body to be decently buried and part of that worldly estate wherewith it hath pleased god to bless me I give as followeth item I give and bequeath all that my copyhold messuage or tenement commonly called or known by the name of Brambles with the barns stables yards gardens orchards and all other the lands and premises thereunto belonging situate lying and being in Colne White in the county aforesaid now in the occupation of Jn Wistoe my son or his assigns unto my daughter Hannah Revell wife of Jn Revell of Pebmarsh during the term of her natural life and after her decease to Hannah Revell my granddaughter and to her heirs forever item I give unto my son Jn Wistoe all arrears of rent which are any due or owing unto me from the said Jn in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 25.9.1721 the mark of Jeff Wistoe signed sealed published and declared by the testator in our presence and in his subscribed by us Jn Newton Math Newman Sam Burton
