I Ann Wenden of Earls Colne in the county of Essex widow do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following (that is to say) first I give and devise to Jos Hagen Dell his executors administrators or assignees all that my undivided moity or a copyhold messuage tenement and premises called Morses or otherwise situate lying and being in the parish of Earls Colne and now in the occupation of my brother in law Dan Wenden my self and my son Jos Wenden upon trust and confidence nevertheless and to the intent and purpose that he his executors administrators or assigns do as soon as conveniently may be after my decease sell and convey the same to the best purchaser or purchasers and for the most money that can be gotten there for and the money or monies arising from the sale thereof after deducting the necessary expenses attending such sale I give and bequeath to my five children Jn Jas Jos Dan and Susan to be equally divided between them share and share alike and my will further is that the receipt of Jos Hagen Dell his executors or administrators or the survivor of them shall be a good and sufficient discharge both in law and in equity to the purchaser or purchasers of my undivided moiety of the said copyhold estate notwithstanding any misapplication or nonapplication of the money arising from the sale thereof also all my personal estate of what ever nature kind and quality soever the same may be of after payment of all my debts funeral and other expenses and probate of this my will I give and bequeath to my said five children Jn Jas Jos Dan and Susan to be equally divided between them part and share alike and I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint Jos Hagen Dell my executor of this my last will and testament in witness whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal the 26.12.1815 Ann Wenden signed sealed published and declared by the said testatrix as and for her last will and testament in the presence of us who at her request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto Martha Dell Rich Latimer Dell Mary Hum
