this is the last will and testament of me Jas Wing of Earls Colne in the county of Essex gentleman first I give and bequeath the sum of £200 unto my nephew Zach Farrants a youth now living with mr Jn Dodson grocer and draper of Castle Hedingham in the said county of Essex to be paid to him when the attains the age of twenty-four years, but in case he shall died before that age leaving lawful issue, then I give and bequeath the same unto such issue if more than one child equally between them, to be paid to them in equal shares as they shall respectively attain the age of twenty-one years but if my said nephew shall depart this life under the age of twenty-four years without leaving lawful issue, then the said legacy shall form a part of the residue bequeathed as hereinafter mentioned also I give and bequeath unto Sarah Cracknell now living with my son Chas Wing of Earls Colne aforesaid grocer and draper the sum of £20 also I give and bequeath unto Chas Cracknell an infant now living with his father Jas Cracknell of Bocking in the county of Essex labourer the sum of £5 also I give and bequeath unto Hannah Rankin now living with me the sum of £5 also I give and bequeath unto her sister Eliza Rankin an infant now living with her father Jn Rankin of Bocking aforesaid labourer the like sum of £5 also I give and bequeath unto Rachel Rankin now living with her father Jos Rankin of Rayne in the said county of Essex farmer, the like sum of £5 also I give and bequeath to my brother Mark Wing of London watch and clockmaker the sum of £10 and I direct that the six last mentioned legacies shall be paid at the expiration of twelve months next after my decease also I give and bequeath unto the widow Brackley now living with her son and daughter at Pattiswick Green in the said county of Essex the weekly sum of 2s to be paid to her on the saturday in every week during her natural life, the first payment to be made on the saturday next after my decease all the rest residue and remainder of my personal estate whatsoever and wheresoever after payment thereout of my just debts and funeral and testamentary expenses I give and bequeath unto my said son Chas Wing for his own use absolutely also I give and bequeath all that my messuage or tenement with the appurtenances situated in Earls Colne aforesaid and now in the tenure or occupation of my said son Chas Wing and also all and singular my messuage or tenement situated and being in Church Street in Great Coggeshall and in the several occupations of Robt Garratt Jn Burton and Abraham Eves and also all those my two tenements situated and being in Back Lane in Great Coggeshall aforesaid in the several occupations of Hen Shuttleworth and Wm Smith and also all and singular my real estate whatsoever and wheresoever unto the use of my said son Chas Wing his heirs and assigns for ever I nominate constitute and appoint my said son Chas Wing and my brother Thos Wing of Earls Colne aforesaid, chandler, executors of this my last will and testament and I direct that one of them shall not be answerable or accountable for the other of them but each of them for his own acts and deeds only, and that the said Thos Wing shall retain of be paid out of my personal estate for his loss of time and trouble and also all costs charges and expenses which he may bear sustain expend or be put unto in or about the execution of this my will and I revoke all former wills by me at any time heretofore made and do declare this to be my last will and testament in witness whereof I the said Jas Wing the testator have to this my last will and testament set my hand and seal this 3.6.1824 Jas Wing signed sealed published and declared by the said Jas Wing the testator as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us who in his presence and at his request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses J.
